Mail order returns and refunds

All of our herbal products come with a 21-day no quibble guarantee. Clients are entitled to a refund on returned items only if they comply with certain conditions. Due to the nature of the products we sell, if the outer seal of any Chinese herbal remedy, herbal product or herbal sliming tea is removed or in anyway damaged or broken then we cannot refund that item.

Please telephone us before returning any item(s). Returns should be sent to: Chinese Herbal Clinic, 5 Brame Road. Hinckley. Leicestershire. LE10 0ET. Please include your NAME and ADDRESS with your return, along with a brief letter explaining why you are returning the item(s).

When you return your unwanted herbal product(s), we recommend you use Royal Mail Recorded Delivery. We are sorry but we cannot refund any mailing charges for returned medicines.

We cannot accept returns after 30 days from the date of despatching your order.

Recorded Delivery
The Chinese Herbal Clinic will not be held responsible for situations beyond its control, these include claims for packages that are lost, damaged or undelivered while in the post. For this reason we insist that all medicines despatched by Royal Mail are sent Recorded Delivery. This signed-for service ensures that if your package was proved as either damaged, or lost while in the post, you may receive compensation from the carrier.

Contaminated products
In the unlikely event that the Chinese herbal medicine product is found contaminated, other than damaged in transit (see above - which may be the responsibility of the carrier). Please inform us of this problem by telephone (all clients will be issued with our telephone number following a preliminary consultation). FOLLOWING THE SAFE RETURN OF THE CONTAMINATED PRODUCT, we will arrange for a new issue of Chinese herbal medicine to be mailed to you at no extra cost. Or alternatively a full refund of your money for this item (including the appropriate delivery cost). Note: no refund is possible if the herbal product is found to be in any way tampered with.

No refund for a Mixture of herbal medicine
A mixture of Chinese herbal medicine is made up of 15 to 20 varieties of raw dried herbs. If our practitioner recommends this style and you agree, you will be supplied with a week’s supply of this stronger form of medicine. This mixture is made especially to suit your own individual condition, for this reason the same mixture could be ineffective for another individual even with a similar condition.

As you may have already read in about us “Almost everyone who drinks a tea made from the juice of a mixture of herbal medicine at first remarks about the unusual and often bitter taste. Most adults get used to the taste very quickly, though unfortunately the taste of the juice is a major draw back as some people find the taste revolting. We would ask customers to bear this in mind before going ahead with an order for a mixture of Chinese Herbal medicine”

After the dried raw herbs have been blended (similar to mixing sand and cement) and packaged they can’t again be separated out in to the different varieties of herb. For this reason we cannot give a refund for the return of any unused mixture of herbal medicine.
